			<description>The following resume is from an ordinary person so it might not be fully science proved.

My english might also be not the best...

So we have red/gray Chips, after putting them in the MEK dilution, aluminum were concentrated at some spots and measuring at this spots showed that there is an aluminum/oxygen ratio of 3:1. So basically we have 3 parts aluminum and one part oxygen. If we combine 1 oxygen with 1 aluminum, we get 2 aluminum and 1 oxidized aluminum. So there is no oxygen left for the 2 more aluminum parts, so we proved the existence of elemental aluminum (that's just an very basic calculation I guess, but still proves elemental aluminum [i think the profs could explain this part in more detail)

This is premise 1 : There is elemental aluminum (red layer)

Besides the aluminum spots, there were also iron spots. The ratio of iron/oxygen was 2:3. When there is more oxygen then iron, clearly there must be oxidized iron.

So premise 2: There is iron oxide (red layer)

Now we put the chips in an &quot;oven&quot; an set it to 700 degrees, inside the oven is some measuring stuff which detects the energy output of the chip.

At ~ 400°C the chips began reacting and realeasing a lot energy.

Premise 3: An exothermic reaction happend inside the chip.

To double prove this, Niels Harrit also inflamed a chip above a Bunsen Brenner, which clearly showed a little light flash which is an absolute prove that there must be some photons, electrons..whatever..I don't know... that leaves the system energized. 

There can't be visible light without an energy behind it, pushing it into our eyes... i guess

Premise 3a: The Chip reacted exotherm.

After this, iron rich microspheres were found inside the &quot;oven&quot; [DSC].

A sphere can only emerge, when matter is liquid, because of the surface tension, the matter uses his most &quot;comfortable&quot; form, a sphere. (like rain, quicksilver, soap bubbles, etc.) 

When there is an iron sphere, it means, that the iron was liquid while cooling down to a none liquid state very very quick. Cause the pieces are so small, it cooled down before it hit the ground so it could keep the spheroid form.

Iron can only be liquid above 1400°C, so this temperature must have been reached.. atleast.

Premise 4: the reaction temperature reached atleast 1400°C, causing iron-rich spheres.

Furthermore, the iron rich spheres contained more iron than oxygen, so again, we can prove that this time, iron is elemental. The formula shows us that aluminum and iron oxide reacts to aluminum oxide and iron, so the meaning of this point is self-explaining.

Years of discussion later, but still nobody could show an other exothermic reaction but thermite which includes the elements in the red layer and could possibly reach 1400°C to create iron rich spheres, based on the iron from the mixture itself.., yet we are not sure if the planet earth contains the possibility to create a reaction like this by combining some elements. So based on this we get our last premise, this time not directly from the study but from the nature itself, if you don't like this call it empiric science. 

Premise 5: There is only one known exothermic reaction with the possibility to reach temperatures above the melting point of iron (~1400°C), causing iron-rich spheres.

So now we have 5 premises, lets combine them and try to find the conclusions:

P1 + P2 = There is elemental aluminum and oxidized iron inside the red layer

C1= If these elements are in a good ratio, it will react and we can call it thermite

Now we set &quot;in a good ratio&quot; true, and see later if we can verify it.

C1a = There is elemental aluminum and iron oxide in the right ratio to call it thermite

P3 + C1 = An exothermic reaction happened and if this elements are in a good ratio, it will react and we can call it thermite.

C2 = It reacted exothermic, so we can call it thermite

P4 + P5 = the reaction temperature reached atleast 1400°C, causing iron-rich spheres and there is only one known exothermic reaction with the possibility to reach temperatures above the melting point of iron, causing iron-rich spheres

C3 = There is only one possibility.

C1+ C2 = If these elements are in a good ratio, it will react and we can call it thermite and it reacted exothermic, so we can call it thermite.

C4 = The ratio was good, so it reacted (C1a = true) 

C1a + C2 + C3 =  There is elemental aluminum and iron oxide in the right ratio to call it thermite and it reacted exothermic, so we can call it thermite there is only one possibility.

C5 = We call it thermite

C1 + C4 + C2 + C3 + C5  = If these elements (iron oxide, elemetal aluminum) in a good ratio, it will react and we can call it thermite and the ratio was good, so it reacted and it reacted exothermic, so we can call it thermite and there is only one possibility and we call it thermite.

Finall Conclusion = It is thermite.
